Developed in collaboration between The Peninsula Hotels and the Victoria and Albert Museum, the 2026 edition of Art in Resonance presents new artistic productions extending from public space to hotel interiors as part of Hong Kong Art Month.
Another work presented within the program in collaboration with the V&A is Albert Yonathan Setyawan’s ceramic installation to be situated in The Lobby. Shaped around concepts of ritual, repetition, and sacred space, this site-specific work reflects Setyawan’s long-standing conceptual and material-focused practice. The installation is curated by Dr. Louis Copplestone, Curator of Southeast Asia at the V&A.

An Intersection Through Architecture, Design, and Material
On the first floor, in the area located next to The Verandah, a collaborative project by architect-artist Dr. William Lim and luxury carpet brand Tai Ping is on view. One of the leading figures in Hong Kong’s architectural scene, Lim brings his interdisciplinary practice together around axes of design, material, and identity in this project. The work marks Tai Ping’s second collaboration within the Art in Resonance program.
The 2026 Art in Resonance program is not limited to Hong Kong. Works produced within The Peninsula Hotels’ global network continue to meet audiences in different cities. Lin Fanglu’s She’s Bestowed Love, exhibited in Hong Kong as part of the 2025 program, can be seen until September 2026 in the exhibition Dimensions: Contemporary Chinese Studio Crafts at V&A South Kensington. A section of the work will also be displayed at The Peninsula London in February.
