Art Basel Hong Kong 2022 edisyonu katılımcılarını açıkladı. 24-26 Mart tarihleri arasında düzenlenecek olan fuarda 137 galeri yer alacak, fuara Türkiye’den Dirimart ve Pi Artworks katılacak. 28 ülkeden galerilerin katılım göstereceği fuarın 2022 edisyonu, 240 galerinin katıldığı 2019 edisyonuna göre daha küçük çaplı olacakken, 104 galeriyi izleyiciyle buluşturan Art Basel Hong Kong 2021’e oranla katılımcı sayısındaki artış dikkat çekiyor.
Öte yandan Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre’da düzenlenecek Art Basel Hong Kong, 2022’nin katılımcı listesinde yer alan 16 galerinin Art Basel’e ilk kez katılacak galeriler olduğunu duyurdu.
‘Hayalet Kabinler’ Yine Gözde
Bu yılın edisyonunda da ilk kez 2021’de kullanılan ve galerilerin Hong Kong’a gelmeden fuara katılmalarını sağlayan “uydu standlar” çok popüler olacak. ‘Hayalet stand’ olarak da adlandırılan kabinler sayesinde galeriler uzaktan erişim ile fuara katılım sağlayabilecek. Bu yıl katılacak olan 137 galerinin yaklaşık yüzde 60’ı, yani 82 galeri hayalet kabinleri kullanacak. Kabinlerde Art Basel çalışanları galerilere yardımcı olacak.
ARTnews’in haberine göre konuyla ilgili açıklama yapan Art Basel’in global direktörü Marc Spiegler, “Mevcut belirsizliklere rağmen Hong Kong şovumuza katılan galerilerin sayısındaki artışı görmek ilham verici” dedi.
