It remains one of the bestselling book series of all time, captivating audiences across generations with its magical narrative and richly imagined world.
The same artwork previously sold at Sotheby’s London in 2001, commanding £85,750 (approximately $107,000 at today’s exchange rate) against a high estimate of £25,000 (approximately $31,000), setting a record for any Potter-related material at the time.
