Scorpios Bodrum: A Summer Filled with Digital Art

Scorpios has announced an all-female lineup for the 2025 Encounters art program's “Ever After” edition. The program, which will take place at coastal locations in Mykonos and Bodrum, will feature four artists presenting installations, live performances, and digital artworks.

Scorpios is returning on July 25 with the third edition of Encounters, its annual summer art program organized in collaboration with HOFA Gallery. Taking place at coastal locations in Mykonos and Bodrum, the program brings together four pioneering female digital artists: Maja Petrić, Operator, Sasha Stiles, and Krista Kim. This season offers a unique experience at the intersection of ritual, storytelling, and digital art, featuring immersive installations, performances, and digital works published through Scorpios Collect.

Since its first edition in 2023, Encounters has become a pioneering platform for digital and immersive art, attracting numerous visitors, facilitating artwork sales, and contributing $1.5 million to rainforest conservation. The program, which has gained global recognition through contributions from leading figures in digital art such as Refik Anadol, Sougwen Chung, and Random International, returns in 2025 with the theme “Ever After.” This edition brings together four female artists—Maja Petrić, Operator, Sasha Stiles, and Krista Kim—who create works at the intersection of creative coding, ritual, and longevity. The artists explore themes such as memory, transformation, vitality, and collective consciousness, presenting digital works that interact with the audience, respond to their surroundings, and evolve over time. Utilizing artificial intelligence, generative code, data, and sound, these projects transform digital processes into contemporary rituals of connection and transformation, promising viewers a powerful experience.

Maja Petrić — Specimens of Time: Mykonos
July 25–31, 2025, Mykonos

Maja Petrić’s Specimens of Time: Mykonos is a continuation of her prolific series of light sculptures that capture the atmosphere of unspoiled natural environments. The large-scale outdoor sculpture responds in real time to environmental data from the changing conditions of the Aegean (sunlight, wind, and temperature), transforming these inputs into an ever-evolving field of light and reflection. During the day, it refracts sunlight into a layered movement; at night, it glows with a data-driven lighting composition. Petrić creates not a representation of nature, but a sensory trace of nature—a luminous moment preserved in form and light.

Operator — Repeat as Necessary
August 2025: Exhibition of works, Bodrum

August 9–10, 2025: Live immersive performances by Operator, Bodrum

Operator, a duo at the forefront of performance and technology whose works have been exhibited at Ars Electronica, HEK Basel, and Art Basel Miami, brings a new durational choreographic work to Bodrum’s Ritual Space. Repeat as Necessary, choreographed by Ania Catherine, is an immersive, site-specific performance that explores trance states, nervous system synchronization, and the body as living technology through movement repetition, breath, and an original music piece.

Operator blurs the boundaries between audience and performer, boredom and revelation, positioning the human body as the most advanced technology available—a structure that requires no external devices, only constant attention and synchronized presence.

Sasha Stiles — Heart Mantras
Late July 2025, Bodrum

Award-winning poet and artist Sasha Stiles presents Heart Mantras, a generative poetry installation that blends human language with artificial intelligence. A finalist for the Digital Art Awards, Stiles has brought works exploring human creativity and machine imagination to venues such as Art Basel, Gucci, and Lincoln Center.

The work features an infinite poem that rewrites itself in real time, utilizing a dataset composed of 50 AI-generated variations of one of Stiles’ original poems. The projected text is layered onto four carved mirrored disk sculptures, inviting viewers into a multi-sensory reflection ritual. Inspired by Buddhist sutra practices and algorithmic repetition, Heart Mantras explores how language, memory, and creativity resonate and evolve in human and machine consciousness.

Krista Kim — Aura Chamber
Late July – Late September 2025: Aura Chamber experience, Bodrum

August 1–4, 2025: Guided sessions offering the experience with Krista Kim

Krista Kim, founder of the Techism movement and a leading voice in digital health, presents the Aura Chamber, a meditative light installation designed to harmonize body, mind, and technology.

Award-winning artist Kim has previously exhibited this series on 96 screens in Times Square and is currently showcasing it at London’s Outernet. In early August, Kim will host a series of intimate, personally guided sessions offering a deeper insight into her meditative approach and the healing potential of the Aura Chamber experience. Additionally, a limited edition of signed prints from the Continuum series and exclusive digital collections will be available for sale.
