The exhibition highlights how photography has evolved beyond mere documentation to become a powerful communication tool that reflects social structures, ideologies, and cultural transformations. Visitors will explore the shifting landscape of visual culture through each artwork, gaining new perspectives on the social impact of photography.

Susan Sontag argued that photography should be seen as an art form and a tool with the power to shape societies and spread ideologies. Known for her critical perspectives on women’s social roles and experiences, Sontag deeply explored the relationship between photography and gender. Understanding how her statement, “Photography exists to end everything,” visually represents social and gender dynamics is a key focus of this exhibition. Additionally, the exhibition questions Sontag’s profound perspective on photography through the works of female artists and photographers.
