Pera From December 3 to 8, 2024, Pera Museum will present the third edition of Greek Film Days, a celebration of classic and award-winning Greek cinema. Organized in partnership with Greece’s EMEIS Cultural Collective and Turkey’s istos film and istos publishing, the event promises an enriching experience for cinephiles.
The program opens with The Striker with Number 9 by Pantelis Voulgaris, a heartfelt sports drama that competed for the Golden Bear Award at the 1988 Berlin Film Festival. Across six days, audiences will be treated to 17 remarkable films from the 1980s and 1990s, offering a deep dive into this dynamic era of Greek filmmaking.
Screenings, held at the Pera Museum Auditorium, are free to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
