Pera Learning Programs Calls for Participants

Pera Learning organizes face-to-face and online workshops for children

Pera Learning organizes face-to-face and online workshops for children as part of the “Summer Holiday Workshops” program between 19 July – 12 August 2023.

The four-week program parallels the exhibition titled Isabel Muñoz: A New Story, bringing together different disciplines. In the face-to-face workshops, two and three-dimensional designs bring the past and present together, while philosophy, drama, rhythm, and body movements accompany the creative artistic production processes. In three different workshops that take place online, mysterious and imaginative findings from the history of humanity are turned into illustrations and models.

The designed programs are inspired by the current exhibitions in the museum.

Influenced by the exhibition titled Isabel Muñoz: A New Story, participants explore their body, emotions and thoughts, as well as the ancient history of humanity, using the combination of movement, dance, and body-mind-breath. While tracing the findings from Göbeklitepe, Karahantepe and Sayburç that have aided in a rewriting of history, the participants transfer memories from their journey on large papers on the floor and on the wall using crayons, just like the ones we inherited ten thousand years ago.
