The exhibition, titled “I have lost and I have been lost but for now I’m flying high”, promises to be a spectacular showcase of Stipe’s creative talents.

The pieces displayed will be undated and will range from minimalistic plaster busts and abstract forms painted with pigment-filled spray bottles to photographs made with silver gelatin on fiber. The exhibition is curated by the director of the foundation, Alberto Salvadori. It pays homage to ancient Greek sculptures and renowned artists like Constantin Brancusi and Marisa Merz. The exhibition revolves around Max Ehrmann’s poem “Desiderata” (1927), which explores our collective vulnerability and how it can actually be a potent source of strength.

The exhibition will also include a new book of Stripe’s photographs, published by Damiani Books and the foundation.
