border_less ARTBOOK DAYS, which brings together publishing museums, galleries, institutions and institutes with artists and initiatives that publish, produce with print materials, work on texts and editioned works, sets out to create a new common ground through book productions.
The sixth edition of border_less ARTBOOK DAYS will take place on May 3-5 at Loca located on the fourth floor in Yapı Kredi Culture Arts and Publishing. The event, which will bring together 50 artists, initiatives, galleries, museums, museums, associations and art institutions from 12 different countries in its new edition, aims to create new interaction grounds through publishing houses by gathering people who produce, speak and share in the field of art in different parts of the world under the same roof.
border_less was launched in January 2018 by Melek Gençer and Huo Rf as a Turkey-based online platform that brings together artistic expression and artistic productions from different geographies. Operating in the field of visual arts, the platform publishes in bilingual (English-Turkish), and at times also available in a third language; the original language of the text, artwork, or narrative in question.
border_less is a platform whose mission is to provide an alternative space for artists and writers, as well as to support new content and publications. border_less also creates an independent archive of already published and platform-specific texts.
In March 2021, border_less initiated a new collaboration with artists titled EDITIONS. The series so far includes 25 different limited edition prints by 21 artists and had been exhibited at pop-up events hosted by Öktem Aykut in December 2021, SANATORIUM in December 2022, İMALAT-HANE in June-July 2023, Zilberman Istanbul in November 2023 and Galeri Nev in February 2024. border_less EDITIONS continue with new works by various artists in 2024.
The 6th edition of border_less ARTBOOK DAYS will be organized under the main sponsorship of TCEEGE, co-sponsored by Paribu, Vitruta, KINAY and supported by Asya Nakliyat, Studio Mada, Tempo Aksesuar and Ofset Yapımevi. border_less’ press sponsors are Art Unlimited and Argonotlar.
The event calendar of the 6th edition of border_less ARTBOOK DAYS will include talks, workshops and publication launches focusing on publishing practices. Details will be announced on border_less social media accounts and website.
