İş Sanat continues to bring art to people of all ages through its workshops and seminars held at the Museum of Economic Independence in Ulus, Ankara. As part of the exhibition Taste and Art: Delicious Paintings, curated by Prof. Dr. Gül İrepoğlu, a special talk titled “Gül İrepoğlu Speaks” will take place on Thursday, October 16 at 12:00.
The museum’s ongoing program features diverse activities for children and adults alike. While children’s workshops provide opportunities to explore art techniques and create their own works, adults can experience the Taste and Art: Delicious Paintings exhibition accompanied by the curator’s insights.

In the Still Life on My Plate workshop, children will learn about the still life genre and paint their own interpretations. The Children’s Newspaper workshop begins with a guided tour of the Your Future’s Safety exhibition and invites children to design their own newspapers inspired by the early Republican era.

Other highlights include Colorful Stained Glass, a family-friendly creative activity, and The Muses of Zeugma, combining archaeology and mosaic art. Financial literacy-themed workshops such as Money of the World and My Savings Box teach the value of money and saving habits. The Museum Memory activity introduces children to museum objects, while Mini Forest: A Journey from Seed to Forest fosters awareness about nature and tree species.
All workshops are free of charge, with registration available via İş Sanat’s official website. Events are open to both individual visitors and school groups. More information and reservations can be found at issanat.com.tr.
