Women dominated the Grammys this year, with major awards going to Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, SZA, and Miley Cyrus.
Swift achieved a historic milestone, becoming the first artist to win Album of the Year four times, securing the honor for “Midnights.” During her acceptance speech, she shared the stage with fellow nominee Lana Del Rey and expressed, “I would love to tell you this is the happiest moment of my life, but I feel this happy when I’ve finished a song. All I want to do is keep doing this.”
Earlier in the evening, while accepting the Best Pop Vocal Album award, Swift playfully remarked, “OK, this is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number, I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that.” Seizing the moment, she also announced the release of her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” scheduled for April 19.
