Pari Dukovic in Istanbul

Award-winning photographer Pari Dukovic, is making his debut solo exhibition in Türkiye with 'From Istanbul to New York: A Photographer’s Journey.' The exhibition is coming to the city in collaboration with the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul.

The first solo exhibition in Türkiye by award-winning photographer Pari Dukovic,  known for capturing the images of world-renowned figures, titled ‘From Istanbul to New York: A Photographer’s Journey’ opens on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul.

The exhibition visually presents not only the cities of Istanbul and New York, which hold significant places in the artist’s life but also the interesting people he has met and the unforgettable moments he has captured. Bringing together 65 select works, Dukovic will offer viewers a rich visual experience spanning from the streets of Istanbul to the iconic skylines of New York.

Each photograph taken through Pari Dukovic’s lens showcases his passion for photography and his desire to document the world. Born in Istanbul, Dukovic has captured portraits of Hollywood stars, world leaders, and numerous famous artists throughout his career.

As the youngest staff photographer at TIME magazine, Dukovic presents his own story visually, not only through the two major cities of Istanbul and New York but also through the people and moments he has encountered. Over the course of his career, he has photographed many renowned figures such as Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian, and Taylor Swift. Dukovic also shot the cover photos for Barack Obama’s memoir *’A Promised Land’* and NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson’s latest book.

These 65 special works from Pari Dukovic’s successful photography career will be on display at the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul starting September 25.
