The hope planted in the soil with Agos thirty years ago is still alive on the 19th anniversary of Hrant Dink’s assassination. To remember and sustain this legacy—one that deepens the pursuit of justice, peace, freedom, and truth—people will gather on Monday, January 19, at 2:30 PM, in front of the 23.5 Hrant Dink Memory Site.

Thirty years ago, Hrant Dink and his friends planted a seed in the land where they were born: Agos newspaper began its publishing life. On the 19th anniversary of his assassination, we keep alive in our hearts the hope Hrant carried when he founded Agos. With him, we renew our pursuit of justice and our belief in peace, freedom, and truth.
Our word is our bond, Ahparig. Today, and tomorrow as well!
On the 19th anniversary of the murder, we will gather to commemorate Hrant Dink on Monday, January 19, at 2:30 PM, once again in front of the 23.5 Hrant Dink Memory Site (Agos’s former office), at the very place where he was shot.
