With its new series Endless Day, launched on the longest day of the year, Hara offers a space of experience that celebrates nature’s cycles, rituals, and creative practices. This one-day event—filled with performances, talks, workshops, and concerts—invites participants to stand at the edge of time through art on June 21.
Hara is launching a new event series on the longest day of the year. Titled Endless Day, the series will meet audiences at specific times of the year through a multilayered program spread across a single day. The first edition will take place on Friday, June 21, and will celebrate the summer solstice by focusing on the rhythms and cycles of nature.
Where Are We in History?
Inspired by the theme “Ritual,” which is the subtitle of Hara’s current exhibition Where Are We in History?, this first Endless Day draws attention with a full day of free public programming. Spanning performances, talks, workshops, exhibition tours, music, and storytelling, the program offers opportunities for connection with nature, art, and thought.
The day begins at 1:00 PM with a conversation between Ayşe E. Coşkun and Nicoline Dorsman, which explores creative practices through the lens of craft and design. This is followed by Güneş Terkol’s Story-Pins workshop and a conversation on jewelry from an ecological and feminist perspective by Nazlı Ökten and Zeynep Ürgen.
The day continues with Melodic Body, a performance-workshop by CheChe, and deepens with a special guided tour of the Where Are We in History? exhibition, led by the curators and artists.
Also featured in the program are an art workshop in the garden by Günnur Özsoy, a storytelling performance by Zinnure Türe, an experimental performance by Kunsf, and a talk on “new lutherie” with Tolga Tüzün. The day concludes with a live performance by Yusuf Huysal in the Hara Garden.
