Ara Güler’s photographs, compiled from his years of travels across Anatolia and brought to life with captivating colors, await visitors at the Museum of Modern Art on the Greek island of Rhodes on July 11. These 62 special photographs, taken between 1957 and 2003, showcase Ara Güler’s mastery of color photography and his deep love for Anatolia.
The Ara Güler Museum continues to bring the master photographer’s art to a wide audience through exhibitions, publications, and collaborations both domestically and internationally. In this exhibition, where colors stand out as a powerful element connecting Anatolia, Ara Güler’s photographs transcend the concepts of time and space, establishing a deep connection with the viewer while emphasizing the familiar life of Anatolia.

These colorful works, which were first exhibited at the Ara Güler Museum in 2023, are now meeting art lovers in Rhodes, marking the museum’s first exhibition experience in Greece. Ara Güler’s Colorful Anatolia exhibition can be visited at the Rhodes Museum of Contemporary Art until August 30.
