The Poet of Rock and the Icon of the Free Spirit

With her 1975 debut album Horses, Smith reshaped the direction of rock music, and with songs like Because the Night and People Have the Power, she became an icon not only in the music world but also on the political stage. Her four Grammy nominations and the National Book Award she received in 2010 for Just Kids demonstrate the originality of her artistic and literary journey. From Madonna to Nirvana, from Taylor Swift to Florence Welch, countless artists consider Smith both an inspiration and a symbol of unrestrained freedom.

The Patti Smith Quartet consists of guitarist and longtime creative partner Lenny Kaye, drummer Jay Dee Daugherty, bassist and keyboardist Tony Shanahan, and guitarist Jackson Smith, who joined the lineup in the past decade. This longstanding collaboration highlights the artist’s multifaceted creativity and boundless energy in their live performances.

Highly anticipated in Türkiye, this concert offers a unique opportunity for those who wish to experience Patti Smith’s impact on both the music and literary worlds simultaneously. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, December 10, at 12:00 p.m. and will be available via Biletinial.
