Turkey’s famous detective series Behzat Ç’s lead actor Erdal Beşikçioğlu (Republican People’s Party (CHP)) won Ankara’s Etimesgut’s municipal elections.
In Etimesgut, the stronghold of Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Beşikçioğlu became the new mayor by outperforming his rival, MHP’s Enver Demirel, with a difference of approximately 100 thousand votes.
