3dots introduces “Accelerator 001”; a unique program for founders in the cultural and creative industries. The Accelerator Program aims to assist and guide entrepreneurs to grow and scale their businesses by improving entrepreneurial knowledge and skills in creative industries and sustainable development.
“The Accelerator Program is aiming to assist entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses by improving entrepreneurial knowledge and laying foundations for a thriving ecosystem to spark impact in the creative industries.
Designed for start-ups, The Accelerator Program will converge the dots between people, cultures and contexts with the support of international mentors who are specialised in wellbeing, product management, leadership, web3, legal & finances and from various backgrounds with innovative minds over the course of 12 weeks. What is the Accelerator Program?
The Accelerator Program brings together mentors and advisers from diverse backgrounds, combining expertise in both the creative industry and entrepreneurship, and offers tailor-made programs that discuss the basics of entrepreneurship and the creative industries. By talking about the concept of “impact” and providing “investment readiness” that will prepare the ground for entrepreneurs to discover their own capacity to create “impact”, as well as support entrepreneurs to prepare for the investment process. Thereby cultivating the future of innovation and impact the Program aims to channel the social and economic potential of the cultural and creative industries into these thriving startup ecosystems, thereby cultivating the future of innovation.
The Aim and Structure
With a deep grasp of the aspirations and motivations of creative and valiant cultural entrepreneurs, the program is designed to contribute to the entrepreneurial mindset and business principles in the industry and aims to make the entrepreneurs “investment ready”. The multicultural, diverse, and inclusive ecosystem of the cultural and creative industries energises the project to find the next generation of founders who are eager to overcome some of the challenges faced in accentuating the impact of culture.
The 3dots Accelerator Program will move forward with 5 selected applications and will last 12 weeks. Applicants will assemble for a bootcamp before the accelerator’s first round is finalised in October 2023, followed by a Demo Day in Berlin in late December. The program will be conducted in a hybrid mode as mentorship and other training sessions will be held online.
